Client Service Specialist
Job Description:
The Client Service Specialist supports the staff by assisting with group enrollment, renewal processes and additional administrative functions that are designed to improve and enhance workflows, timeliness and client responsiveness.
Responsibilities:
Attach applications to appropriate client file in Microsoft CRM.
Collaborate with internal teams and offer support to the Account Managers and Benefits Consultants.
Answer incoming phone calls.
Prepare census for new groups and renewals.
Liaison for our other brokers on our associated health plan renewals.
Create and print open enrollment materials (benefits guidebooks, election forms, etc.).
Maintain accurate benefits records, including enrollment forms and plan documents, ensuring that all forms are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
Maintain and update our website and post on our social media site.
Create marketing flyers.
Participate and assist with onsite and offsite work events.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Desired Background/Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office products is required.
Strong attention to detail.
Possess a positive, can-do attitude.
Self-motivated, flexible and disciplined.
Ability to work independently as well as in team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced production environment.
Familiarity with insurance carrier websites is preferred.
Proven track record in customer service is preferred.
Familiarity with database applications is a plus.
Qualifications:
2+ years of applicable job experience preferred.
Prior experience in broker agency or benefit administration firm preferred.
