Materials Distribution Coordinator
Job Description:
We are currently hiring for a Materials Distribution Coordinator to support a client of ours in RTP. This candidate will be responsible for the receiving and processing of mail and provide campus/off-campus pick-ups and deliveries of mail and packages on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for picking-up the incoming mail from the U.S. Postal Service on a daily basis.
Responsible for the daily processing of all incoming mail into company facility.
Resolve any undeliverable mail issues by researching the staff directory for the correct addressee.
Distribution of mail and packages by delivery route around the campus on a daily basis
Process, sort and stamp all outgoing mail using the postage mailing machine
Provide customer service to the campus staff by answering inquiries via phone or email
Cross train in all receiving operations and assist the team as needed, such as receiving packages and pallets, process inbound shipments and sort per delivery route
Other tasks assigned by management
Education Requirements:
HS diploma or GED
Desired Background/Skills:
Previous mail experience is a plus
Good organizational skills
Good driving record
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid driver?s license to operate company vehicles
Must be able to communicate with varying levels of employees at RTI
Must be able to become familiar with SOP?s and how they relate to the company
Must have working knowledge of Word and Excel software programs
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. alone or with assistance
