Assembly Technician
Job Description:
Greene Resources is seeking an Assembly Technician to join a growing and dynamic team! In this role, you will perform a variety of shipping, receiving and sample processing activities in support of an environmental air filter collection program.
Responsibilities:
Ship, receive, and process samples from multiple locations.
Ensure samples are properly assigned and tracked with great attention to detail.
Perform routine work with high attention to detail.
Ability to observe and document findings during procedures.
Check multiple items on COC and alternate paperwork.
Must have clear, concise documentation of discrepancies and comments
Utilize developed software and systems.
Perform alternate tasks as assigned including data entry tasks, temperature monitoring, lab organization and other standard responsibilities as assigned.
Assemble coolers for test samples that are shipped to various facilities for data processing and collection.
Assist with receipt and inspection of materials and consumables.
Assist with ordering and stocking of materials and equipment.
Adhere to program Standard Operating Procedures and agency guidelines.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma is required.
Desired Background/Skills:
Able to excel in a high-throughput environment.
Able to perform repetitive tasks and prioritize workloads.
Basic Knowledge of Excel.
Work well in a team environment.
Excellent listening skills and communicate skills, both verbally and in writing.
Follow instructions with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
Experience in a high paced environment is preferred.
Other Information:
Flexible schedule between Monday - Friday. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
