Associate Relationship Manager

Job Description:

Our client, a leading communications service provider, is looking to bring on a new associate relationship manager due to high company growth! This position supports a team of Relationship Managers and their collective portfolio of existing clients. A key focus on successful coordination and execution of annual and/or event driven proxy events and client satisfaction. This individual will work directly with Relationship Managers and clients to ensure administrative and operational duties are delivered. They will perform industry research to maintain understanding of relevant trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape.


  • Support Relationship Managers and assist in providing exceptional service delivery to client

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams for coordination and procedural enhancement purposes.

  • Project management: Assist in onboarding clients and coordinate operational delivery of services within required timeframes.

  • Interface with clients: Obtaining necessary documentation and files, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure successful execution of services and client engagement.

  • Communications strategy: Work closely with Relationship Managers and strategic partners to coordinate branding, production and distribution of mailings and digital content as well as proxy solicitation.

  • Coordinate setup of online voting websites and telephone voting systems, ensuring complete communication across all related service providers.

  • Perform quality assurance role, including but not limited to: oversight of print and mailing documents, and monitoring hosted websites for functionality and accuracy.

  • Review service quality standards and service levels.

  • Other duties or tasks may be assigned based on business priorities and may include development of departmental procedures, process improvement initiatives and metrics-based reporting.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree, preferred

Desired Background/Skills:


    • 1-2 years of Client Success Experience

    • Business Operations/ Financial Services experience is required

    • Corporate/Mutual Fund/Annuity Proxy experience preferred

    • Demonstrated commitment to client service excellence

    • Ability to organize, prioritize and complete detailed tasks within tight time constraints / PMP Certification or similar a plus

    • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external partners

    • Superior verbal and written communications skills

    • Strong problem solving skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft suite

    • Salesforce a plus

    • Collaborative working style

    • Excellent research skill
