IT Services Specialist II

Job Description:

In this role, you will provide high quality client experiences through virtual and onsite support & maintenance. You will have the opportunity to apply and enhance your technical skills and relational experiences by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting our clients with their technology service needs such as the administration and support of Clients PCs/Macs/Servers, printers, servers, and related equipment. Other expectations of our clients include providing end user support, license tracking, and performing computer maintenance, upgrades and configurations.


  • Learn clients? environments, organization and technology expectations to be able to anticipate their needs and issues before they ask for our help

  • Provide virtual and on-site helpdesk support and resolve problems to our client?s satisfaction

  • Record Service Cases from clients via phone, on-site requests, voicemail, email, etc.

  • Troubleshoot remote access issues

  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests

  • Assist with onboarding of new users including installing, testing, and configuring new workstations, peripheral equipment, and manage computer setup and deployment

  • Solve Cases as quickly as possible for clients to provide a high level of service

  • Track the progress assigned Service Cases during entire lifecycle to ensure that it is resolved within the agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement), ensure the case is resolved as soon as possible and that the client is informed along the way

  • Help others on the team if the workload is light to help close service cases

  • Update SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) documentation to keep all client documents up to date

  • Keep time entries up to date on cases

Education Requirements:

  • 2-year Technical Degree or BS Degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or applicable Certifications in related field

Desired Background/Skills:

  • OS X

  • Linux

  • Windows Server 2012-2019

  • Windows 7-Windows 11

  • Configuration of firewalls

  • Configuration of Wireless Access Points

  • Configuration and troubleshooting of Network Switches

  • VoIP and QoS


  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Passion for helping and serving others

  • Enthusiasm for learning about technology and about our clients

  • 2-6 years of IT Support Experience

  • Demonstration of a strong work ethic and passion for customer service

  • Ability to positively contribute to a collaborative team environment

  • Disciplined, systematic problem-solving skills
