Members Services Coordinator
Job Description:
The Member Services & Small Business Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Member Services and Small Business department by assisting in the planning, execution, and evaluation of programs, events, and initiatives. This position is designed to ensure effective member engagement, professional development and small business advocacy while enhancing departmental efficiency and supporting the overall Raleigh Chamber objectives.
Responsibilities:
Provides organizational and administrative program and event support.
Assist with the identification and vetting of meeting and event speakers.
Confirm meetings and event speakers, ensuring their participation and preparation.
Assist VP with all program and event meeting deliverables, follow up to ensure committee and task force member questions are answered and maintain accurate task force and meeting records.
Assist with following up on unpaid event payments.
Nurture relationships with members, partners and key stakeholders to promote collaboration and support Chamber initiatives.
Provide resources and support to help members maximize their Chamber membership.
Perform research related to the development and enhancement of Member Services and Small Business initiatives and issues or policies of interest to the department and Chamber.
Provide support to other Chamber departments as assigned.
Education Requirements:
Must be capable of managing projects over extended periods of time with multiple teammates and deliverables with minimal supervision.
Must possess strong communication, organizational and strategic planning skills.
Must have the ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment including some evenings and early mornings and out of office locations.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM databases.
This is a full-time position.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Daily flextime and general flex-time scheduling options are available.
