HVAC Field Mechanic/Project Manager

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple projects simultaneously with a heavy workload (6-10 active projects).

• Creating and managing schedules for field personnel.

• Conducting job site visits to ensure projects are on track.

• Coordinating and calling in inspections.

• Releasing and ordering materials for projects.

• Performing duct work and sheet metal tasks.

• Utilizing mechanical knowledge to install mechanical BG systems.

• Focusing solely on installations (no servicing tasks).

• Serving as a field mechanic and project manager.

• Driving between various job sites within the Triangle area.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Bilingual (preferred).

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in installing HVAC systems.

• Ability to read plans and run job sites effectively.

• Experience working on multiple job sites simultaneously.

• Strong knowledge of coordinating with superintendents and general contractors.

• Skills in diffusing situations and resolving issues on-site.

• Physical ability to climb ladders and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
