Job Description:
Perform a variety of shipping, receiving and sample processing activities in support of an environmental air filter collection program
Responsibilities:
Ship, receive, and process samples from multiple locations. Responsible for ensuring samples are properly assigned and tracked with great attention to detail.
Perform routine work with high attention to detail. Ability to observe and document findings during procedure. Checking multiple items on COC and alternate paperwork. Clear, concise documentation of discrepancies and comments
Ability to perform the same task repetitively.
Use of developed software/systems.
Perform alternate tasks as assigned, including data entry tasks, temperature monitoring, lab organization, and other standard responsibilities as assigned.
Assist with receipt and inspection of materials and consumables.
Assist with ordering and stocking of materials and equipment.
Adhere to program Standard Operating Procedures and agency guidelines.
Education Requirements:
Highschool Diploma
Desired Background/Skills:
Able to excel in a high-throughput environment.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Basic Knowledge of Excel.
Ability to transition between tasks.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to listen and communicate both verbally and in writing.
Ability to follow instructions.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
