Temp A/R Supervisor

Job Description:

Our client, an Industry leader in key manufacturing is seeking an A/R Supervisor! This role will fully be onsite M-F 8am-5pm (3-6 months).

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate cash posting procedures to ensure customer accounts are updated correctly.

• Develop and implement collection strategies for delinquent accounts.

• Approve new accounts and assign credit limits.

• Review orders on credit hold and release for shipment based on account status.

• Prepare daily reconciliation of subsidiary accounts to general ledger.

• Issue monthly reports and analysis of accounts over 90 days and specific reserve.

• Recommend doubtful accounts for charge off for approval by VP Finance & Administration.

• Train, schedule, assign, and review the performance of Credit Dept staff.

• Monitor cash posting to accounts and account maintenance.

• Review customer deduction report for distribution to Customer Service and Sales Depts.

• Monitor and track company DSO.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the VP, Finance & Administration.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred.

• Minimum of two years credit management experience in manufacturing or wholesale.
