HR Training Coordinator


Job Description:

The HR Training Coordinator will play a crucial role in the development, implementation and coordination of training programs within our manufacturing facility. This position will work with HR teams to ensure employees are properly trained and in compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and company policies. The Training Coordinator will work closely with various departments to assess training needs, develop relevant programs and maintain training records to support a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.


Responsibilities:


  • Training Program Development: Assist in development of training materials and programs for employees within food manufacturing facility.

  • Coordination and Delivery: Schedule and deliver training sessions, workshops, onboarding and orientations, safety trainings, regulatory compliance and job-specific training. Coordinate with external training providers and/or vendors as necessary.

  • Needs Assessment: Conduct regular assessments of training needs and job analysis to ensure training programs remain relevant and effective.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of employee training, including certifications and competency assessments, annual renewals and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics, and making adjustments to improve learning outcomes.

  • Compliance: Ensure all training programs comply with food safety standards, OSHA regulations and other relevant industry guidelines.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with department managers to align training initiatives with operational goals and company objectives.


Education Requirements:



    Desired Background/Skills:


    • Strong communication skills.

    • Must be able to work with within various departments throughout the facility.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to create, track and update training curriculum.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

    • Knowledge of food safety standards and OSHA regulations is a plus.


    Qualifications:


    • 2+ years of experience in a training or HR role, preferably within the manufacturing and/or consumable goods industry.


    Other Information:


    • 1st shift, Monday to Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    • Will work 100% onsite.

    • Contract to permanent opportunity.
