Digital Sales Manager


Job Description:

The Digital Sales Manager (DSM) will manage a small team of digital marketing sellers, an account manager, and an account executive. This is a fairly new, but cohesive team of bright digital marketing sales professionals. This dynamic team works at the intersection of television broadcasting and digital marketing (agency) and has a local and regional reach. Most clients of this team are small to medium-sized businesses. The DSM will focus on mentoring, training, and coaching individuals to meet their full potential. The DSM will have responsibility for team metrics and sale/revenue KPI's.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and coach a small team of Digital Marketing Sellers, an Account Manager and Account Executive.

  • Hire, train and attract top sales talent and build a culture where they can succeed.

  • Drive sales accountability through structured performance management, pipeline management, CRM usage and accurate forecasting.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for ads on digital properties.

  • Sell Ads on digital properties, run advertising campaigns, paid search, etc.

  • Work closely with broadcast sales leaders throughout the company to help their teams achieve their digital sales targets.

  • Effectively communicate with company?s senior leadership on digital sales performance.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

  • Stay on top of industry trends and anticipate the needs of our clients.

  • If there are business opportunities to be explored, then proactively explore them.


Education Requirements:


  • BS/BA degree


Desired Background/Skills:


  • Budgetary responsibilities in past role.

  • Experience managing a small team of sellers in the digital marketplace.

  • Has worked in Digital Ad Sales roles in the past; meeting KPI?s.


Qualifications:


  • 7+ years in sales leadership with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.

  • Leadership experience in media, advertising, or marketing tech sales.

  • Strong forecasting skills and CRM knowledge.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Extremely detail oriented.
