Job Description:

Our client, based in Charlotte, is seeking a motivated Warehouse Logistics Associate to add to their team! The Client is a company dedicated to developing, producing, and commercializing adhesives for industrial applications in various sectors. The Warehouse Logistics Associate will have several responsibilities and tasks to support and maintain the warehouse in several departments. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for maintaining products within the facility, operate a forklift, and ensure This will be a 1st shift contract-to-hire opportunity, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm starting at $15/hr.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for staging, shipping and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies.

  • Stocks the parts stores with an appropriate amount of merchandise.

  • Responsible for inventory control, including determining levels, identifying and disposing of excess and obsolete inventory, and maintaining system inventory accuracy.

  • Enters inventory into software system.

  • Receives material into inventory, move material by quantity between designated locations, and locate/pick material to/from warehouse locations as required.

  • Ensures accurate part number, quantity, and other data fields entries that impact electronic records of receipts, inventories, location, and resolves discrepancies with material quantities, part numbers.

  • Loading and unloading trucks.

  • Maintain the warehouse clean and organized.

  • Update data in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) System.


Education Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

  • One to three years related experience and/or training; or some equivalent combination of education and experience.


Desired Background/Skills:


  • Candidate must have forklift experience, both sit-down and standup required


Qualifications:


  • Forklift License is preferred

  • Prior experience in warehouse is preferred

  • Technical Background in Logistics

  • SAP knowledge is required
