Team Lead - Software Architect


Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced Fullstack Engineer with a knack for problem solving and a love of bleeding-edge web technology. You would work as part of a team to create API-first application backends using objected-oriented development methodologies, as well as developing engaging and accessible user interfaces for our Web applications.


Responsibilities:


  • Leads are responsible for building out functionality and participating in code reviews during development. Successful SB engineers are flexible enough in their skillset to pickup tasks across the stack and outside their chosen discipline. In addition to being proficient in the relevant languages and techniques, we'd expect a great candidate to be engaged in the web community and aware of current trends, advancements and critical software releases.


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree - preferably Computer Science


Desired Background/Skills:


  • Familiarity with DevOps and interest in learning more (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc)

  • Technical Program Management experience

  • Database / Data Science experience


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years Software Engineering with team lead experience and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science

  • Expertise in .Net Core, C#, Flutter, Typescript, Javascript

  • Experience building Rest APIs

  • Willingness to learn new technologies (ie IOT, Blockchain etc)

  • Experience with source control via Git

  • Experience with other relevant command-line tools

  • Experience debugging applications and using Chrome DevTools

  • Ability to write modular, maintainable, testable code

  • Knowledge of underlying internet protocols

  • Experience working in Agile environment & participating in Scrum ceremonies

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and working within startup environments
