Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team! The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support a geographically dispersed Talent Acquisition team with various administrative functions and work with the team daily to track, analyze, report, and process candidate data. The position responsibilities also include communication with candidates, managing the background verification process for candidates, following up with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition team members to schedule candidate interviews, direct on-site interview activities, assist with events at the corporate office and assist with various projects as needed. Additionally, this role will be responsible for creative candidate sourcing, creating and maintaining robust candidate pipelines and screening candidates to determine if they are qualified for a role at the company.


  • Schedule phone, on site, and web based interviews

  • Performs background checks and follows up on discrepancies

  • Field questions related to the sourcing and recruiting process when appropriate

  • Organize and maintain confidential electronic files and documents

  • Assist with on line job postings and marketing or advertising initiatives on various websites and social media platforms

  • Draft confidentiality agreements and contractor agreements. Works with the legal department and Talent Acquisition team members to finalize these documents.

  • Creates, runs, validates, and distributes weekly reports as needed

  • Consistently meet deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment

  • Effectively develop pipeline of candidates using a variety of sources (social media, user groups, databases, recruiting tools, etc.) for recruiters and hiring managers to review.

  • Generate interest with passive and non-passive candidates about company highlighting the variety of awards, company growth and opportunity for candidates

  • Employ creative sourcing methods to discover, screen and qualify talent.

  • Initiate and assist with recruiting projects related to job fairs, virtual sourcing events, etc.

  • Create pipeline building strategies for future needs as well as finding candidates to fill immediate needs

  • Maximize candidate leads through alumni groups, LinkedIn, networking, targeted events, meet-ups, research and other sources

  • Input, update and maintain recruitment records using Taleo

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of experience and education

Desired Background/Skills:

  • Effective Communicator; Articulates in a professional manner, listens to customer needs, and resolves issues in a proactive, collaborative and timely manner.

  • Analytical aptitude and interest to support HR reporting and data analysis requirements.

  • Must effectively manage timeliness; Develop strategies and milestones and prioritize work appropriately. Accomplishes tasks and/ or projects in support of HR and other internal clients.

  • High level of integrity and work ethic; Demonstrates the ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality in all matters as they relate to HR and contributes to the creation of a positive workplace culture.

  • Flexibility; Able to judge multiple tasks and shifting or priorities without missing a beat.


  • 2+ years of experience with talent acquisition/recruiting or in a related area.

  • Experience working in a Clinical Research, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology company preferred.

  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within recruiting.

  • Experience working in a multinational organization is preferred.
