Sr. Accountant

Job Description:

Our team at Greene Resources is seeking a dedicated Sr. Accountant to join our team! The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for supporting our VP of of Finance with financial reports, performing account reconciliations, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. This is a direct hire opportunity located in Raleigh, NC.


  • Maintain time and material (TAM) allocation reporting

  • Daily review and maintenance of all bank accounts and ACH postings

  • Ensure timely financial close via monthly closing checklist and update checklist as necessary

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, reports and provide trend analysis and executive summary

  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations including bank reconciliations

  • Financial and profitability analysis

  • Prepare annual business filings as required by various municipalities and state agencies

  • Prepare and file annual 1099

  • Prepare and file annual escheatment

  • Prepare, file, and pay periodic sales tax liabilities

  • Provide insight into areas of opportunities for the company

  • Assist with questions from external CPA firm

  • Accounts Payable as needed

  • Adhere to company defined internal controls

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a 4 year accredited university

Desired Background/Skills:


    • 3 years of experience as a Staff or Senior Accountant

    • Experience working with Intacct accounting software
