Sales Support Coordinator


Job Description:

Our client, an international food services organization, is seeking a Sales Support Coordinator to join their team! The Sales Support Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the VP of Sales, as well as the US field sales representatives with operational duties surrounding sales processes. This role will manage order maintenance, customer account set up, sales data management, reporting and forecasting, and administrative tasks as needed. This is a direct hire opportunity located in Raleigh, NC.


Responsibilities:


  • Order maintenance, including order entry and confirmation, follow-up of backorders, complaints, returns, samples (SAP and Salesforce), follow-up of promotional actions

  • Setting up new Key Account customers in your portfolio as well as providing support in setting up new files (coordination with Sales, article creation in collaboration with Master Data, setting up Customer Briefing/CRM, procedures, documentation for customers, EDI, price lists in cooperation with Master Data, creation and maintenance of Customer Material Info records in SAP, etc.)

  • Agreements regarding forecast or volume contracts and follow up promo's, inspection of customer contracts

  • Introduction of new articles for the assigned customers and subsequent delivery of necessary documents to the customer for setting up article numbers, EDI set-up, etc.

  • Attendance at trade fairs or customer visits (on request of Sales/customer)

  • Provide information requested by the customer relates to the passing on of articles (Specification sheets, Supply Chain strategy, Planning Wheel,...).

  • Attend frequent team meetings and ensure a smooth cross departmental communication collaboration (operations, controlling)

  • Coordinate the US forecast for all customers with internal stakeholders following the procedures in place

  • Assistance to VP sales, keep agenda up to date, coordination of all travel requests and arrangements for the US team prior to approval by VP

  • Prepare sales reporting for the VP and team following set of commercial routines in place (daily/weekly/monthly)

  • Various administrative tasks (classification, reporting, etc.)


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the follow-up of Key Account files in a commercial office function, in an international or multinational environment

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and ERP package, preferably knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP package

  • Knowledge Salesforce (leads, opportunities, samples)
