Receiving Clerk


Job Description:

Our partner, a national provider of diagnostic testing, has an immediate need for Shipping Clerks & Receiving Clerks at their Graham, NC location. The Shipping Clerks & Receiving Clerks will receive the printed documents from the printer operators and sort them into envelopes. Areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to data entry, sorting, and printing. These are 1st and 2nd shift opportunities. All Candidates must complete a 10 Key Data Entry Test* *Low scores are not indicative of a failure and will not remove you from consideration. This test will be used as a reference to see which role is the best fit.


Responsibilities:


  • Receiving Clerks Responsibilities:

  • Receive the printed documents from the printer operators and sort them into envelopes

  • Print patient and client invoices, mail claims, print letters, and run reports

  • Work closely with the post offices to gather inbound mail

  • Assist with Data Entry

  • Shipping Clerk Responsibilities:

  • These employees will receive the envelopes from the Clerks

  • They will sort the envelopes in the boxes and print shipping labels

  • They will package the envelopes with shipping label for FexEx pickup


Education Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or GED


Desired Background/Skills:



    Qualifications:


    • Must have a high attention to detail and be able to keep up with the flow of the high volume

    • Must be comfortable lifting 50+ lbs. and standing for long periods of time consistently

    • Excellent typing and computer skills

    • Must complete 10 Key Data Entry Test

    • Prior experience in shipping and receiving and or mail room operations is preferred
