Marketing Specialist

Job Description:

Greene Resources is seeking a creative, motivated Marketing Specialist to take our marketing efforts to the next level! This individual will be responsible for driving big-picture marketing and business development strategies that will promote the long-term growth of our firm. They will play an integral role in building and engaging the company's customer base while maintaining the Greene brand. This is a very dynamic role, requiring a self-starter that can work both independently and on cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert. You will have the freedom and support to flex your creative muscles to make an impact on every department within the company.


  • Maintain social media channels and website (Hootsuite/Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn/WordPress)

  • Develop and implement video strategy, including writing, filming, editing, and publishing hot Job videos, #AskGreene video series, and internal marketing videos (Adobe Creative Suite, YouTube)

  • Create and publish a minimum of two blogs per month to the Greene Resources website; manage all guest blog partnerships (Wordpress)

  • Strengthen relationship with Sales Team, to include attending meetings, making recommendations on best practices, and sharing new marketing updates and initiatives

  • Write, design, and share client newsletter; maintain active contact list (MailChimp, HTML)

  • Assist in creating client materials including, but not limited to, business reviews, Request for Proposals, Program overviews, vendor materials, and contractor communication (Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Create prospect materials including, but not limited to, sales pitch decks, marketing flyers, and sample reports

  • Manage community event calendar, including attendee registration and sponsorship materials

  • Own media and public relations including award applications, press releases, panel features, etc.

  • Coordinate registration and attendance for community and sponsored events

  • Follow Greene Resources Brand Guidelines in all print and digital materials and interactions

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Desired Background/Skills:


    • Previous marketing experience

    • Intermediate abilities in Excel, HTML, Adobe Creative Suite(InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere), WordPress, and MailChimp (not necessarily all, but will need a demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly and independently)

    • Advanced abilities in PowerPoint, Word

    • Basic understanding of and can implement SEO best practices

    • "Big-picture" holistic understanding of marketing principles and their application within the larger business unit to drive growth

    • Skilled in branding and brand management

    • Excellent writing capabilities

    • Strong initiative and adaptability

    • Detail-oriented, organized, and effective in project management

    • Enjoys working independently and building relationships with departmental managers and company leadership
