Front Desk Receptionist

Job Description:

Our client's HR Department is in need of a Front Desk Receptionist to join their team! This is a full time, M-F 8am-5pm, 2 month contract position based in Wilmington, NC.


  • Answer incoming telephone calls, transfer to appropriate parties or take messages correctly.

  • Greet visitors in person, inform staff of their arrival, direct or escort them to specific destinations.

  • Operate multi-line phone system, computer, copy machine, fax machine, etc

  • Open and sort mail and deliveries, prepare outgoing mail.

  • Prepare memos, correspondence, presentations and enter data / posting payments into the system.

  • Assist in booking meeting spaces/conference rooms

  • Running background checks

  • Submitting I-9's

Education Requirements:

  • HS diploma or higher required

Desired Background/Skills:

  • Human Resources experience preferred but not required


  • Proficient with MS Office Programs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize, and multi-task

  • Great customer service skills
