Executive Assistant


Job Description:

Our client a leading institution of higher learning is looking for a experienced Executive Assistant to support their President. Salary will be $25/hr - $30/hr, depending on experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate.

  • Respond to questions and requests for information.

  • Answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate person or take messages when needed.

  • Act as a liaison between the Presidents office and other departments.

  • Assist with organizing meetings and other events as needed.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures.


Education Requirements:


  • 4 Year Degree preferred

  • 10 - 15 years experience


Desired Background/Skills:


  • Minimum of 10 - 15 years experience


Qualifications:


  • Exceptional verbal and written skills

  • Very competent in Windows-based computer programs

  • Ability to handle a variety of calls and walk-in traffic in a professional manner

  • Must be able to think independently and prioritize projects accordingly

  • Proven experience in handling highly confidential and sensitive materials

  • Must maintain and present a professional appearance at all times

  • Must possess a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Must have proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of Power BI a plus.

  • Must be detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

  • Must have exceptional communication skills, both verbally in person and on the phone and in writing, primarily through emails and memos.

  • Must be able to operate a multiple line phone system.

  • Must have superior organization skills and a dedication to completing projects on time.

  • Must have the ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules.

  • Must be able to work both individually and as part of a team.
