Customer Service Representative


Job Description:

Our client, located in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to add to their team. This individual will provide the first point of contact for repeat, current, and prospective customers that call or walk-in. You will also respond to inquiries about products and services and resolve complaints. This is a full time, direct hire position that offers competitive PTO and benefits.


Responsibilities:


  • Receive incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Receive incoming customer calls regarding complaints and resolve or transfer to management.

  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, and availability.

  • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.

  • Call customers that made inquiries through the answering service.

  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.

  • Confer with customers by telephone or in person in order to provide information about products and services, to take orders or cancel accounts, or to obtain details of complaints.

  • Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills.

  • Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of insurance claim investigation results and any planned adjustments.

  • Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs.

  • Estimate or quote prices, warranties, and delivery dates.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Education Requirements:


  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)

  • At least four years of related experience
