Controller/HR Manager

Job Description:

Our client a leading manufacturers of premium components is looking for a Controller/HR Manager for its US headquarters. The Controller/HR Manager will be responsible for areas of financial management and human resources functions.. This is a direct hire position with exceptional benefits including strong health insurance and 401k plans. Starting salary $72k with company based performance bonuses.


  • Prepare and verify financial and operational management reports

  • Prepare annual consolidated financial report for holding company

  • Prepare budgets, financial plans, and forecasts

  • Analyze and help control all costs

  • Monitor and help manage company liquidity

  • Manage all A/P and A/R transactions

  • Coordinate with CPA for all tax reporting and payments

  • Assist with control and valuation of inventories

  • Manage all insurance policies and handle all claims (e.g. shipping claims, workman?s

  • compensation, theft)

  • Maintain credit card compliance

  • Complete yearly audits for Worker?s Comp, NC property tax, health insurance, etc.

  • Manage expense report checks

  • Calculate and send monthly wire transfers to other countries as needed

  • Manage payroll and 401k transactions

  • Monitor sick and vacation time for all employees

  • Prepare and enter new-hire forms and documents

  • Prepare and enter new-hire insurance and employee programs

  • Manage 401k additions and changes

  • Assist with internal sales, including quotations, sales orders, purchase orders and

  • invoicing as needed

  • Manage Sales Rep payments and reports

  • Assist with special events (e.g. seminars)

Education Requirements:

  • BS in accounting; MS in accounting is a plus

Desired Background/Skills:

  • Ideal candidates must have 5+ years related experience


  • Proven work experience as controller in international company (preferable $50MM/yr+)

  • Hands-on experience ERP system (preferably Microsoft AX, COGNOS, Talentia)

  • Solid time-management abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
