Job Description:

Our client, based in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you are more than an employee. Join a team of highly trained interviewers as you work to improve the human condition in over 40 countries. The Bilingual Customer Service Representative will draw from strong customer service experience to collect critical research data from survey participants. Your work will touch on important societal issues and provide data that informs policy programs while contributing to the body of survey science research. This is an ideal role for those looking to gain experience in research and data collection while also maintaining a stable schedule close to home. The salary is $14.00 an hour. This is a Part-Time opportunity with flexible evening/weekend schedule options.


Responsibilities:


  • Collect information from survey participant over the telephone for a variety of projects

  • Communicate the goals of the survey to participants and explain why their participation is valuable

  • Engage and respond to participants by following a scripted questionnaire to collect research data

  • Record data accurately into a computer system while speaking with participants

  • Encourage participation from those who have previously chosen not to participate

  • Attend all mandatory training sessions related to survey data collection

  • Maintain quality standards for data collection


Education Requirements:


  • HS Diploma or GED required post-secondary education preferred


Desired Background/Skills:



    Qualifications:


    • Bilingual skills in Spanish

    • Proven work history in customer service or call center environment

    • Effective telephone interviewing etiquette, inflection, and communication skills

    • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with supervisors and coworkers

    • Perform data entry tasks while speaking on the phone

    • Type at least 25 words per minute, with 95% accuracy


    Other Information:


    • Part time, Night/Weekend Hours: flexible schedule between the hours of 5:30 pm - 9 pm Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday, 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday
