Assembly Associate

Job Description:

Our partner, a market-leading innovator and manufacturer in the LED Lighting Industry, has immediate temporary positions available for Assemblers. Selected candidates will perform general manufacturing duties to assemble and fasten parts accurately and efficiently. Candidates will work either 1st or 2nd shift on a Monday - Friday schedule. We are looking for employees who are able to start immediately for this 6-8 week temporary assignment. There could be the potential for long-term based on performance and business need.

Responsibilities:

• Performs assembly and production duties for LED Lighting fixtures and components

• Selects work orders of the highest priority/due to ensure timely completion

• Performs verification of picked materials against the work order bill of materials

• Performs product assembly and related activities as part of a team or individually

• Completes all necessary work order documentation

• Produces quality products by manually assembly or using hand and power tools

• Maintains timely communication with the production team supervisor to ensure quality and on time production goals are met

• Adheres to attendance policy and all other company and department policies

• Demonstrates good team ethics and cooperation

• Performs required production testing and quality verification

• Performs all product labeling and product packaging

• Organizes completed products on skids

• Stages completed product to be moved into the Finished Goods Warehouse
